Before you buy SEO

Better visibility starts
before the fine tuning

Not another SEO keywords tool. We look at the basics. Does your site say the things a client needs to read before they choose you? No page, no ranking. A crawler can only find you for something you have actually written down.

Next: four optional questions about your business, then payment. EUR 49 per report.

A sample report, 55 sheets mikroonik.com
A page from a sample report on mikroonik.com, listing the pages the site needs with their addresses and the question each one answers.

One page of it. Yours is the same document about your site, at whatever length your site gives it. Read the whole thing.

SEO can only rank the pages you already have. Most sites don't have a ranking problem. They have a content problem.

You cannot optimise a page you have not written. The stage before SEO is pre-SEO: SEO optimises the pages that already exist, and pre-SEO decides which pages need to exist in the first place. That is what this report is. Before the agency, before the retainer, before the first invoice: know what your site is missing. One report, every page your site should have, and a brief for each one.

How it goes

You know your business. We just need it written down.

We read your site ourselves, so we never ask you for anything that is already on it. Then four optional questions cover what a crawl cannot reach: the work you sell that is not on there, what buyers ask you, what they get wrong, and what you work with.

Step one We read your site as it is today Up to 100 of your pages, best first, held up against what you just told us. What is already there, what is thin, and what is missing entirely.
Step two We do the thinking We hold your site against what you told us the business sells, work out what your buyers ask before they choose, and find where the site answers neither.
Step three You get the full report One PDF. The pages you should write, in the order that matters, a brief for each one, and the plain basics worth fixing while you are in there: headings, summaries, contact details, and the handful of free things worth setting up yourself.
Where the report fits

You went looking for SEO. This is the part that comes before it.

Nobody sets out to buy a report about their own pages. You set out to be found, and within an hour it is keywords, search volumes, backlinks and a page of tools offering to audit your site. Every one of them measures the pages you already have, and a tool that measures pages cannot name the ones that are missing. The long version of this argument is its own page.

  1. You want to be found

Somebody searches for the thing you do, and it is not your name that comes back.

  2. You read that the answer is SEO

Keywords, search volumes, rankings, backlinks. An afternoon in, and none of it has been about your business yet.

  3. You are handed the tools

Audits, scores, rank trackers, a subscription each. Every one of them is a measuring instrument, pointed at the pages you already have.

  4. But the pages your buyers need are not written yet

So there is nothing for any of it to measure. This is the step nobody sells you, and it is the one that has to come first.

    • Every page your site should have, named and addressed. The whole list, not a shortlist
    • A brief for each one, to hand to whoever writes it
    • Who each page is for and the questions it has to answer
    • The order to write them in
    • One list of the proof you have to go and find before anybody can start

EUR 49. It is usually ready in a quarter of an hour, and the link is emailed to you. See a complete one.

  5. You write the pages, or we do

Off the briefs, in the order the report puts them in. This is the part that takes real time. Do it yourself, or have us do it for you at €50 an hour.

  6. Now SEO is worth paying for

The pages exist, so there is something to optimise, measure and rank. Every one of those tools starts earning its subscription.

Pricing

One price. One report. No subscription.

Reports so far have taken between five and fifteen minutes. A large site takes longer, and the link is emailed to you the moment it is ready, so there is nothing to sit and wait for. It reflects your site as it was that day, so come back for a re-run whenever the site or the business has moved on.

€49per report

Every report costs the same, the first one and any after it, whoever buys it. When a second report is worth buying is a page of its own, and it includes when it is not.

The report tells you what to do, and you can do it yourself. Or have us do it for you, at €50 an hour: the fixes, and the pages written and put on your site.

  • Content gaps and what to write
  • Site structure feedback
  • Technical basics checked
  • Held against what you tell us the business does
  • Practical tips and quick wins
  • Full report as a PDF, yours to keep

No VAT is added, wherever you are: Query OÜ is not registered for it, so the figure above is the figure charged. Priced in euro.
